Slotted*, often larger than stock rotors allow gasses to escape, reduce heat stress caused by hard braking, and actually clean the pads. Fixed calipers and stainless flex lines reduce flex in the system, making brake action firmer and more predictable. Standard kits are available for many cars and trucks. *Drilled rotors are also available, although Blackdog does not recommend using drilled rotors in high performance applications |
